Become a Facilitator

As a Butterflies Facilitator you will have a unique opportunity to interact with our girls in ways that are both affirming and inspiring.  

If you are over 18 years old, female, enthusiastic, creative, enjoy working with young people, as well as engaging in self-development activities, join our FACILITATOR TRAINING PROGRAMME to become a Butterflies Facilitator.

 

Being a Butterflies’ Facilitator offers:

Previous experience is not required as you will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills during the training programme.

 

Training consists of:

  • Programme and facilitation training (covering the Butterflies’ curriculum)
  • Anatomy and physiology – online course
  • Health & Safety – online course
  • Safeguarding training
  • First Aid training

Facilitators are required to:

  • attend a supervision meeting every 3 months
  • undertake refresher safeguarding & first aid training every three years.

 

Once you have successfully completed your training and passed your DBS checks, you will be ready to run your own Butterflies group sessions in your local area and manage your own earning potential.
