Review:
The Worst Witch is about a girls called Mildred who gets into trouble. She has two best friends called Maud and Enid who are always there when Mildred needs them. There is also a girl called Ethel who always tries to get Mildred into trouble. On one occasion, Ethel stole Mildred’s cat called Tabby. Ethel eventually gave him back but didn’t say sorry. The headmistress of the school is called Miss Cackle but her deputy head, Miss Hardbroom, acts like she is the headmistress.
The main character Mildred always saves the day when the school is in trouble and she always gets into trouble herself. Maud is the clever one who is the head of Form Three and she always knows her spells. Enid likes to play and helps Mildred whenever she needs it. Sometimes Enid breaks the school rules.
I like the part where Mildred saves the school from Miss Cackles evil twin sister Agatha as it is where the happy ending appears. When Mildred saves the school, all the teachers forget about Mildred’s mistakes that term and that made Mildred happier.
I would recommend this book. If you like fiction books, this is a great book for you to read. If you like witches, I think your mind will explode with happiness and you will not be able to put the book down.
